| Appearance |
| Tonks is a Metamorphmagus, which means she can appear as whoever she wants, changing her features at will. Her actual appearance is a young woman, with a heart-shaped, pretty face and bubblegum pink hair. She dresses pretty casually for a witch—jeansm magical pop culture t-shirts, and oversized, holey sweaters. She’s pretty fit, as she has to be, to be an Auror. |
| Personality |
| Tonks is playful for an Auror. She likes to play around with her gift of Metamorphmagus. It gets her in trouble, sometimes. Because her job is so serious and she can be that, but doesn’t really feel any need to be like that. She’s extremely friendly. Everybody starts out with her on an equal level; she’s insanely friendly to everyone providing they don’t give her a reason not to be. She’s generous with who she is, doling out her personality and natural friendliness to all. She’s overwhelmingly capable at her job—knowing how to put aside her naturally likable personality for the stressful job of an Auror. She’s also intelligent and clever, traits that get her out of many negative situations. Tonks is blusteringly clumsy, too, almost constantly tripping over things. It’s as if she just gravitates to the floor. And her natural disdain for organization, for respecting authority like a mature adult, is a trait that can make her enemies. Tonks just doesn’t respect snobbishness, prudishness, or pompousness. It just doesn’t work with her. |
| Abilities & Strengths |
| Tonks is a Metamorphmagus, able to change her body and face at will. She can transform herself into anybody else's physical appearance. This can be used both for awesome mockery of enemies or practical disguise, along with just using it to change what she looks like day-to-day. Her strenuous training as an Auror bequeathed Tonks with many abilities. She has vast knowledge of both the Wizarding and Muggle (non-magical) worlds. She is adept at all police work, some martial arts, government, and spellwork. Her spellwork goes beyond what is normal for an average wizard, her favorite and best area of spellcasting being transfiguration. She is also abnormally talented and well-versed in magical combat. (Tonks is horrible with Potions, though, as she never really wants to follow the instructions). |

| Tonk’s biggest personality weaknesses are her clumsiness and her natural friendliness. Even though she could cope physically well enough without her wand, she is nowhere near the physical level of most of Econtra’s residents. Without her wand, Tonks is a little lost. |

| History |
Tonks was born in England in 1973, on first of September. She’s descended from the notorious, wealthy Black Family. All of her relatives on her mother, Andromeda’s, side of the family are part of this pureblood dark family. She and her mother are estranged from this part of their lineage. Her father is Ted Tonks, a Muggle-born wizard.
She was raised under the reign of Voldemort. Even though her parents did the best that they could to shield her from the war, many friends of her family died almost as soon as Tonks met them. Her parents had to move countless time, and Tonks learned to adapt to life however she could. When she was seven, Tonks discovered her Metamorphmagus power and perfected it to the extreme.
Tonks left for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry in 1984. She was an extremely capable student there, although she got into trouble once in a while for her easygoing, mischievous nature. While there, she created the term DEATH MUNCHER in mockery of the followers of Voldemort, the Death Eaters. Some braver people still use that term in the the current war with Voldemort in the Wizarding World.
Voldemort was defeated in 1981 by the infant Harry Potter. Tonk’s years at Hogwarts became infinitely more enjoyable
In 1991, Tonks began her first year of Auror training, even though the struggle with Voldemort wasn’t over. She excelled, and became an Auror, working with notables Aurors left over from the war.
Tonks led her life as excitingly and pleasant and possible, with her job summary basically coming down to, “CAPTURE BAD GUYS. LOCK THEM UP. MOCK AS NEEDED.” But in 1995, Voldemort came back to power, and Tonk’s life became a deadly thing again. She joined the esteemed Order of the Phoenix, a secret nongovernmental society that resisted Voldemort.
Since then, her life became a frantic mix of Ministry of Magic nonresistance and the more dangerous work of the Order. But she handled it well, until the death of Sirius Black, her cousin, by her aunt Bellatrix Lestrange.
Tonks was equipping further charms over a complex shield around a Muggleborn home, a precautionary Ministry-ordered protection, when she felt a peculiar feeling washed over her. Thinking somebody had gotten her, or she had just been too long without decent rest, Tonks made peace with death. Only to wake up in a room of white... |
